Welcome to Rolling Spoon, an online magazine all about music and food! We’re Elizabeth and Julie – and as Elizabeth puts it, we’re a little bit kitchen, a little bit rock n’ roll. Elizabeth, a music writer and editor in a previous life, is now a freelance writer with a penchant for vintage recipes. Julie writes and talks about all things food. (We’re both married to musicians.) This site came about as a way to make the connection between music and food, and to get to know our favourite artists in a more personal way – in the kitchen and around the dinner table.
